Works to enable people to increase control over, and to improve, their health. Health Promotion moves beyond a focus on individual behavior towards a wide range of social and environmental interventions.

Clinic Services

Clinic Services

Clinic services are provided for prenatal, children and adults. A broad range of services are offered to keep residents healthy and to prevent the spread of diseases. Nutrition services, including WIC, are provided as well.

Home Visitation

Home Visitation

Home visitation programs include Robeson County Home Health, Care Coordination for Children, and Nurse Family Partnership. These programs offer residents important health care and education in their own homes.

Regional Grants

Regional Grants

One regional grant includes interventions to address Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (ODHDSP) as well as tobacco prevention and control. Active Routes to School is a NC Safe Routes to School Project supported by a partnership between the NC Department of Transportation and the NC Division of Public Health.

The Environmental/Field Services program strives to provide a sanitary and healthy environment for the residents of Robeson County while conducting services in a professional, efficient and cost effective manner.
